Chamber Cellos at King’s Place

If you are an intermediate to advanced adult cellist, here’s a not-to-be missed weekend Chamber Cellos course at Kings Place.

From late starters to serious gigging amateurs, Chamber Cellos courses offer individual and collective challenges within a supportive and fun environment. Led by professional cellist Kim Mackrell, Chamber Cellos courses are all about the joy of playing.

Music for the weekend will include wonderful cello ensemble compositions and arrangements of all genres from Classical to Jazz to Rock. Enjoy a full cello ensemble and smaller chamber groups.

Parts are sent in advance to the players and are allocated individually to ensure the challenges are there for all. Players of Grade 6 to Advanced are welcome.

The cost of the weekend is £180, which includes a full day’s rehearsal on the first day, followed by further rehearsals and an informal concert to end the course. Cost also includes tea and coffee throughout the weekend.
