Cello Club thanks Stringers of London and Thomastik-Infeld Versum, for their generous sponsorship of this event.

Our annual CelloDay is coming up, a time when we all gather to make music, to discover new ways of playing and new, exciting repertoire and to enjoy the fun of being together, playing our favourite instrument! Join us at the Royal Academy of Music for a fulfilling day of music. Open to young cellists from the ages 4-18, at grade 1-8+ or equivalent.

Enrolment Fees

Seniors (Grades 5-8+)

£44 Non-members of LCS Cello Club

£38 LCS Cello Club members

(Afternoon refreshments only are included in this price. You may bring a packed lunch or there are a selection of restaurants in the vicinity.)

Juniors (Grades 1-4)

£40 Non-members of LCS Cello Club

Observers (All welcome)

Finance should not be an obstacle to attendance, so please contact us at [email protected] if you require financial assistance. We provide bursaries to children of families in need of financial assistance. Please let us know the name of your cello teacher so we can ask them for a brief recommendation.

Participants are invited to bring a short prepared solo piece (max. 3 minutes) with piano accompaniment to perform to the teacher and other students in your group. The teacher will give you some feedback–tips and ideas– to think about for your cello playing. Please bring a piece which you already know well and can enjoy playing in front of your new cello friends! Please remember to bring your piano accompaniment part along too.
