GO Cello! is pleased to host Robin Aitchison as Luthier in Residence. He will be holding free cello surgery sessions throughout the weekend to assess your cello and help you to improve its response. He will also have some of my cellos available for testing. Just email him on [email protected] to book your appointment.

Exploring Cello Techniques with David Kenedy will look at many different Cello Techniques needed to master for those advanced pieces. Room 122

The Magic of Cello Sound with Zoe Martlew will explore how you can use the cello in new, creative and theatrical ways. Room G39

Argentinian Cello with Eduardo Vassallo will give you a magical flavour of Argentinian Music through the cello. Room G15

Creative Practice with Natalia Pavlutskaya will give you new ideas in how to problem solve and achieve your practice goals. Room G17

Cello Mapping with Lionel Handy will bring you refreshing ideas in how to map your way around the fingerboard. Room G46

Improvisation with Shirley Smart brings the creative freedom and magic of improvisation on the cello. Room G56

The Directors of Go Cello! will notify you as to which teacher you will be performing to.

Vamoosh! with Thomas Gregory bringing the fun and enjoyable pieces from the Vamoosh books.

2.30 pm Rob Wells- Learning repertoire can be far more exciting than simply playing through it until a level of fluency is reached. In this session participants will collaborate to explore how a piece can be the starting point for a range of creative activities through which learners can come to internalise and understand the repertoire more fully.
