Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance Greenwich
Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance Greenwich, Cutty Sark, National Maritime Museum
Go Cello! is a national celebration of the cello for young cellists grades 1-8+ taking place in the exciting maritime locale of Greenwich. Historic treasures like the Cutty Sark and the National Maritime Museum nearby, along with our world-class faculty, will inspire our journey through three days of performances and a range of classes exploring repertoire, technique, improvisation & more. Go Cello! will culminate in a festive concert on the Museum’s famous Great Map, exploring our sea-faring heritage through three world premieres inspired by the Museum’s collections. We welcome you, your family and friends to join us for a once-in-a-lifetime event celebrating the instrument we all love to play!
We also offer a parallel event for teachers on Saturday 14th April from 10AM–5PM exploring ways to incorporate new and cherished concepts of teaching the young cellist.
Presented by the London Cello Society, in partnership with Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance and the National Maritime Museum. The London Cello Society thanks Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and our sponsors for their generous support of this cello adventure.
