Docklands Light Railway (recommended route)

The easiest way to reach the Faculty of Music is by Docklands Light Railway, alighting at Cutty Sark station. The DLR and London Underground connect at Bank, Tower Gateway, Canary Wharf/Heron Quays and Stratford.

Bus

Bus numbers 177, 180, 188, 199, 286 and 386 all bring you to the heart of Greenwich.

Train

If travelling from Central London, travel from Cannon Street to Greenwich. There are frequent trains and the journey time is approximately 12 minutes. On arrival at the station, turn left on the road towards town. The Faculty of Music is approximately a 10-minute walk away.

Bicycle

There are also ample cycle racks in the centre of Greenwich, just before the East Gate to the Old Royal Naval College.

Car

Greenwich can be accessed via the M25, A2, A20 and the South Circular (A250). Parking is not permitted within the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College. We have a limited number of disabled parking spaces available on site. Please book ahead on 020 8269 4799 or email [email protected].

Air

London City Airport and London Gatwick are the most convenient airports for Greenwich. From London City Airport take a mainline train to Canning Town and change on to the Jubilee Line. Travel to Canary Wharf and change to the Docklands Light Railway there (see above). From Gatwick, catch a train to London Bridge, change there to a mainline train to Greenwich. If you are landing at Heathrow, travel into London on the Piccadilly Line, changing at Green Park on the Jubilee Line (see London Underground and Docklands Light Railway above).
