11.15 am – 12.45 pm Classes:

Exploring Cello Techniques with David Kenedy will look at many different Cello Techniques needed to master for those advanced pieces.

The Magic of Cello Sound (Multimedia experience) with Zoe Martlew will explore how you can use the cello in new and creative ways using multimedia.

Argentinian Cello with Eduardo Vassallo will give you a magical flavour of Argentinian Music through the cello.

Creative Practice with Natalia Pavlutskaya will give you new ideas in how to problem solve and achieve your practice goals.

Cello Mapping with Lionel Handy will bring you refreshing ideas in how to map your way around the fingerboard.

Improvisation with Shirley Smart brings the creative freedom and magic of improvisation on the cello.

2.00 pm – 3.30 pm Public Masterclasses: Leonid Gorokhov & Aaron Minsky (sponsored by Stringers of Edinburgh & London)

10.30 am – 12.00 pm Classes:

Musical Roots (Folk Songs & Dances) with Shirley Smart will explore music from Folk Songs & Dances from across the world.

Rock my Cello! With Robin Michael will get your love of Rock out and onto the cello.

American Cello Etudes with Aaron Minsky will work with you on his jazzy, rock and blues etudes.

Early Music Treasures with Sebastian Comberti will explore some of the cello treasures from Baroque & Classical periods.

Bowing Virtuosos will explore bowing techniques that will have you flying around the cello.

Magic Music Box with Helen Neilson will help learn some of the tools needed to play the tunes you love.

The Magical Ear with Alison Moncreiff-Kelly uses the special skill of listening to create & improve your favourite pieces.

Folk Songs with Alice Jones will explore the fun energy of Folk Songs.

Vamoosh! with Thomas Gregory bringing the fun and enjoyable pieces from the Vamoosh books.
