Go Cello! is a national celebration of the cello for young cellists grades 1-8+ taking place in the exciting maritime locale of Greenwich. Historic treasures like the Cutty Sark and the National Maritime Museum nearby, along with our world-class faculty, will inspire our journey through three days of performances and a range of classes exploring repertoire, technique, improvisation & more. Go Cello! will culminate in a festive concert on the Museum’s famous Great Map, exploring our sea-faring heritage through three world premieres inspired by the Museum’s collections. We welcome you, your family and friends to join us for a once-in-a-lifetime event celebrating the instrument we all love to play!
