Cello Folk! is a day of playful and creative exploration of folk music from the British Isles. Highly experienced folk musician Deborah Chalmers will lead our young cellists in learning traditional folk songs, tunes and the creative building blocks such as drones, riffs, chord sequences and much more to arrange their own folk composition. Dance is another feature of the folk tradition that we will also be enjoying during the day. Cello Folk! has something for everyone, so we welcome friends and family along with keen young cellists.

The London Cello Society thanks the English Folk Dance and Song Society for their generous support of this event.
