Bella Vivaldi, an exploration of Vivaldi’s music for the cello (including sonatas and concerti), reveals a fresh and unusual approach, using ornamentation, colourful instrumentation and imaginative interpretations which Roel Dieltiens and his Ensemble Explorations have made famous through their award-winning performances and recordings. Daytime classes with the artists will offer young players a fresh perspective on these much-loved works.
The London Cello Society thanks the Royal Academy of Music for their generous support of this event.
